About the Program
The Le’lum Community Support and Housing Stability Program (Le’lum) is a federally funded program supported through Reaching Home, Canada’s homelessness strategy. Funding flows through Lu’ma Native Housing Society, and Tsawwassen First Nation holds the funding agreements and remains accountable for them. Həleləm Collective delivers the program.
Le’lum supports Tsawwassen Members who are at risk of losing their housing, or who need short-term support to regain housing stability. Housing instability can happen for many reasons including changes in income, health challenges, family transitions, or unexpected crises. The program focuses on early, practical support to help prevent homelessness and reduce the disruption and harm that can come with housing loss.
The program is grounded in respect, relationship, and dignity, and works with Members to identify realistic, forward-looking solutions.

Le’lum provides short-term, flexible supports based on each Member’s circumstances. Supports may include:
Help navigating housing options and tenancy concerns
Support with applications, documentation, and referrals
Assistance with rent arrears or a housing crisis where your housing is at risk
Connections to income supports, health services, and community resources
Help planning next steps toward longer-term housing stability

Who the Program Is For
The Le’lum Program is available to Tsawwassen First Nation Members who live in Canada and:
- Are at risk of losing their current housing
- Are experiencing a housing crisis that puts their current or next housing at risk
- Need short-term support to stabilize their housing
How the Program Works
- Members are treated with respect and care
- Supports are developed collaboratively
- Your information is handled with care, and some information is shared with our funder as required by the funding agreement
- Decisions focus on safety, dignity, and housing stability
